Josh Young
Music Supervisor
Josh Young is the visionary Founder and CEO of Atrium Music, a premier music publishing and sync licensing agency delivering high-quality, pre-cleared music for television, film, and commercial productions across the globe. With a career spanning two decades in entertainment, Josh is a three-time Emmy-nominated supervising editor and music supervisor whose work has helped shape some of the most recognizable programming on television today.
His editorial and music supervision credits include iconic shows such as Big Brother (327 episodes), World of Dance, The Masked Singer, Lego Masters, Dancing with the Stars, The Voice, Hollywood Houselift with Jeff Lewis, The Bachelor, Temptation Island, and so many more. This rare dual expertise—both in the cutting room and in crafting sonic experiences—has allowed Josh to uniquely understand how music enhances storytelling, driving emotion and impact.
Motivated by a desire to better serve artists and storytellers, Josh founded Atrium Music to create something better—a sync agency rooted in integrity, authenticity, and an artist-first philosophy. Atrium’s core belief is simple but powerful: “Let artists be artists.” By handling the business side with professionalism and care, Atrium frees creators to do what they do best—create meaningful, memorable music.
Today, Atrium represents over 1,600 artists and composers from around the world. Its diverse catalog spans genres, cultures, and continents, and its music has reached audiences in over 200 countries and territories worldwide, elevating everything from hit TV shows and global ad campaigns to award-winning films and streaming content.
But Josh’s impact goes far beyond music placement. He is also a respected mentor, public speaker, and educator, regularly sharing his knowledge at media conferences, universities, and creative summits nationwide. Whether he’s speaking on a panel or one-on-one with a young artist, Josh is passionate about helping others navigate the evolving landscape of sync, media production, and creative entrepreneurship.
What sets Josh apart is his ability to blend artistic vision with sharp business acumen. He’s not just building a music company— He’s not just running a company—he’s helping build a community where creators can thrive and where integrity, innovation, and heart drive everything forward.
